Work Schedule Report to Office, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. &ndash; 3:00 p.m.Position SummaryThe Office Assistant provides front-office and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers and supports internal staff through a variety of clerical and organizational duties.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Answer and manage a multi-line telephone system, directing calls appropriately and providing accurate information when needed.</li><li>Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner; determine the nature of their visit and direct or escort them to the appropriate destination.</li><li>Prepare and transmit information and documents to customers via phone, email, mail, or fax.</li><li>Perform general office duties, including filing, mailing, and maintaining office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.</li><li>Provide administrative support such as proofreading documents, transcribing handwritten information, and assisting with other clerical tasks as needed.</li><li>Maintain the appearance of the lobby and reception area, including light upkeep such as watering plants and organizing magazines.</li><li>Analyze information to respond to routine inquiries from customers or members of the public.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of employee time-off requests and call-out occurrences.</li><li>Enter, update, and maintain databases containing contact information, including names, addresses, and phone numbers.</li><li>Support ad hoc projects and additional tasks as assigned by management.</li></ul>Job Requirements<ul><li>Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor.</li><li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred)</li><li>Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
