Essential Duties include, but are not limited to the following: 
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Plan and procure adequate supply levels for the nursing department and other departments, as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain adequate inventory levels to ensure supplies and equipment are consistently available.
</li><li>Ensure deliveries are accurate, in good condition and properly invoiced.</li>
<li>Maintain clean and organize storage areas, labeling and rotating supplies.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and thorough records of all items in the inventories.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Deliver supplies to specific staff and/or departments.</li>
<li>Ensure vendors provide appropriate safety sheets and materials.</li>
<li>Maintain a reference of procurement procedures, current standards and regulations.</li>
<li>Ensure appropriate departments are charged for equipment or supplies.</li>
<li>Coordinate the invoices are verify approvals are submitted to the business office timely.</li>
<li>Maintain an organized, safe and clean supply environment in accordance with facility policies
</li><li>Monitor the use of supplies in accordance with company guidelines.</li>
<li>Service equipment, troubleshoot issues and find resolution when necessary.
</li></ul> 
Required Skills/Abilities:
<ul><li>Ability to follow the principles of safe body mechanics in all aspects of lifting and carrying supplies.
</li><li>Proficient with computer databases.</li>
<li>Basic math and accounting skills.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with Residents, their family members and staff at every level of the organization.</li>
<li>Able to pass an Oregon DHS background check.</li>
<li>Except, understand and follow instructions in English.</li>
<li>Effective problem solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, including, patience, empathy and compassion.</li>
<li>Effective communication skills, including the ability to speak English.</li>
<li>Active listening, writing and reading comprehension.</li>
<li>Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality of all resident care and family information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.</li>
</ul>
 
Education and Experience:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.
</li><li>One year of relevant work experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
</li><li>Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
</li></ul> 
Preferred Skills:
<ul><li>Previous experience in a healthcare facility.</li>
<li>Previous experience in inventory supply.</li>
</ul>
 
Physical Requirements:
<ul><li>Able to stand and walk for extended period of time while delivering supplies through the facility.</li>
<li>Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally more with assistance.
</li><li>Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and twisting while stocking supply areas, laundry rooms, and supply closets.</li>
<li>Ability to push carts and trash barrels through hallways and services areas.
</li><li>Ability to grip, handle, and move boxes and supply containers safely and efficiently.</li>
</ul>
