This role requires someone who can transform complex ideas into clear, manufacturable designs while collaborating closely with our engineering and fabrication teams to bring cutting-edge performance concepts to life.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Utilize CAD tools to design and integrate electrical and mechanical systems within hybrid electric vehicles and motorsports applications ensuring seamless operation.</li><li>Create and review detailed system schematics, CAD models, and technical presentations.</li><li>Develop practical solutions for complex system-level challenges, ensuring adherence to industry standards and MIL-STD requirements.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and mechanical components effectively.</li><li>Participate actively in design reviews, providing valuable insights into system integration and performance.</li></ul>Requirements and Skills:<ul><li>2+ years of experience in 3D CAD design.</li><li>Knowledge of automotive and motorsports design.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software and tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, Onshape).</li><li>Familiarity with MIL-STD requirements and industry standards.</li><li>Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and finite element analysis (FEA) is advantageous.</li><li>Strong technical writing skills for preparing detailed documentation and reports.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Technical Certification in CAD or similar.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Self-motivated, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Combination of office and laboratory settings.</li><li>Occasional travel to project sites or manufacturing facilities may be required.</li><li>Standard office equipment and testing tools will be used.</li></ul>Equal Opportunity Employer:MATBOCK, LLC is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
