We&rsquo;re a tech forward practice trusted by large employers and TPAs for litigation, training, and advocacy. We&rsquo;re hiring an Associate or Senior attorney ready to litigate aggressively and manage complex files.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Appear at WCAB proceedings (MSC, Priority Conferences, Trials, etc.).</li><li>Take and defend depositions; conduct cross-examinations of physicians (PTP/PQME/AME).</li><li>Draft trial briefs, petitions (incl. reconsiderations), discovery, and client advisories.</li><li>Analyze med-legal reports, PD ratings, AMA Guides, and applicable regulations.</li><li>Manage a dedicated caseload; lead case strategy and client communications.</li><li>Run conference calls and provide timely legal updates per firm requirements.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Active California Bar; in good standing</li><li>Excellent written and oral advocacy.</li><li>Workers&rsquo; Compensation Defense background:</li><li>Associate (1&ndash;4 years): hearing/depo experience with strong growth trajectory.</li><li>Senior (5+ years): first-chair trial experience; petitions for reconsideration; physician cross-exams.</li><li>Mastery of AMA Guides, California Labor Code, WCAB rules and procedures.</li><li>Tech-forward: comfortable with modern workflows and effective with AI/legal-tech tools.</li><li>Client-focused, proactive, and accountable for results.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Full-Time Senior: $170,000+ DOE salary.</li><li>Associates &amp; Part-Time: Competitive, DOE; part-time compensation prorated.</li><li>Benefits: Full benefits package for full-time employees.</li></ul>Location &amp; Practice<ul><li>Woodland Hills, CA.</li><li>Progressive law firm&mdash;modern, tech-forward workflows.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Bar (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
