This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills while making a positive impact on our customers&rsquo; day.Duties<ul><li>Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly.</li><li>Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demos to enhance their shopping experience.</li><li>Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and uphold cash handling procedures.</li><li>Upsell products by recommending additional items that meet customer needs, boosting sales and satisfaction.</li><li>Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restock shelves, and assist with merchandising efforts.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person, ensuring every guest feels valued.</li><li>Support stock management through stocking shelves, organizing displays, and monitoring inventory levels in a grocery store environment.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience with POS systems or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided.</li><li>Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities.</li><li>Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.</li><li>Strong communication skills with a friendly phone manner to handle inquiries professionally.</li><li>Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling tasks.</li><li>Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or grocery store environments is advantageous.</li><li>Must possess excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
