Whether clients prefer a hands-on approach with expert guidance or want a comprehensive service from concept to completion, MBM Design ensures a tailored experience to turn dreams into reality.We are currently seeking a highly efficient, motivated and organized INTERIOR DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer located in Hartford County. The Interior Designer will be responsible for planning layouts, creating construction drawings, selecting and coordinating FF&amp;E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with subs and contractors. Day-to-day tasks will include floor planning, developing design presentations, managing project scopes, schedules, budgets. In addition the Designer must have solid knowledge and experience in order quoting, procurement and tracking. Heavy client interfacing as well.The Interior Designer will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, delivering exceptional design solutions.QualificationsProficiency and Passion for Interior Design, Space Planning and Project Management. Someone who wants to come into the room and lead a project and the team from start to finish. Must be independtly driven and an excellent communicator/problem solver.3-5 years experience working for an established interior design studio is a must.Creation of Construction Drawings3-5 years experience in of FF&amp;E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)Excellent project management and client communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a teamBachelor&rsquo;s degree in Interior Design or related field is requiredProficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) is requiredPositive, creative and a drive to succeed and surpass expectationsWhat You&rsquo;ll Do:Collaborate with clients and team members to develop creative, functional design conceptsProduce design presentations, material selections, and detailed drawingsManage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are metSource products, finishes, and furnishings that align with project goals.
