 We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager / Key Account Manager to lead and manage all operational activities for our client, a leading Telco BSS software vendor in Oman.
 
 
 
 
 
 This role is responsible for overseeing the business operation in Oman while maintaining and developing a strong relationship with its strategic customer, Omantel.
 
 
 
 
 
 The role requires expertise in sales, operational development, general management, finance and budgeting, industry regulatory affairs, legal, and contract negotiation, as well as experience in C-level cooperation within the Telecommunications (TelCo) industry.
 
 
 
 
 
 Role Requirements:
 
 
 Education, qualifications &amp; special training
 
 
 &bull; Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
 
 
 
 
 
 Experience
 
 
 &bull; Significant experience in account management, sales, or commercial leadership roles within telecommunications or adjacent industries.
 
 
 &bull; Demonstrated experience working with BSS and/or OSS solutions in support of telecommunications operators.
 
 
 &bull; Experience engaging in large-scale transformation programmes, including coordination across vendors, systems integrators, and customer stakeholders.
 
 
 &bull; Prior exposure to regional or country-level responsibility is highly desirable.
 
 
 
 
 
 Competencies/capabilities &ndash; technical/professional
 
 
 &bull; Strong familiarity with BSS and/or OSS applications, with the ability to understand customer usage, evolving requirements, and business drivers.
 
 
 &bull; Experience with CRM and billing solutions gained through vendors or systems integrators such as Amdocs, CSG, Convergys, Oracle, Geneva, Intec, Comverse, Accenture, Capgemini, or similar.
 
 
 &bull; Competence with standard MS Office applications, Salesforce (or equivalent CRM tools), and an awareness of project and programme management techniques.
 
 
 &bull; Commercial acumen with the ability to balance short-term opportunities against long-term strategic objectives.
