Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Install Assistant to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in construction, mechanical systems, and property maintenance to gain hands-on experience in HVAC installation and service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Prior experience in service technician roles, plumbing, refrigeration, or appliance repair is a plus. A valid driver&rsquo;s license is required for this position. This is a paid position suitable for those looking to develop their skills in HVAC/R and related fields.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment</li><li>Support technicians in reading schematics and HVAC design plans to ensure proper setup</li><li>Perform basic maintenance and equipment repair tasks under supervision</li><li>Help with plumbing connections and property maintenance related to HVAC systems</li><li>Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical components</li><li>Support welding, mechanical assembly, and equipment setup as needed</li><li>Assist with field service tasks including system testing and troubleshooting</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency during installations</li><li>Follow safety protocols and procedures during all phases of installation and maintenance</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience or knowledge in construction, mechanical systems, or property maintenance preferred</li><li>Service technician experience or background in appliance repair, HVAC/R, or refrigeration is advantageous</li><li>Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and plumbing systems is a plus</li><li>Mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and equipment repair preferred</li><li>Ability to operate basic tools including welding equipment and ohmmeters</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license required; &lt;PERSON&gt; driver&rsquo;s license preferred for travel between job sites</li><li>Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team in a dynamic environment</li></ul>Pay: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>HVAC field: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
