Job Title: WelderCompany: McLaughlin Waste EquipmentLocation: Canyon Country, CAJob Type: Full-TimeJob Description: McLaughlin Waste Equipment is looking for a skilled and reliable welder to join our team. We manufacture and repair waste equipment including roll-off containers, front load bins, compactors, and specialty steel products. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG welding and be comfortable working with heavy-gauge steel in a shop environment.Responsibilities:<ul><li>MIG weld steel components for roll-off containers and waste equipment</li><li>Read and follow shop drawings and measurements</li><li>Perform fabrication, repairs, and modifications to containers</li><li>Maintain weld quality and structural integrity of finished products</li><li>Operate shop equipment such as grinders, torches, and cutting tools</li><li>Work efficiently with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Welding experience required (MIG preferred)</li><li>Fabrication experience</li><li>Ability to weld heavy-gauge steel (10&ndash;14 gauge or heavier)</li><li>Ability to read tape measures and basic shop drawings</li><li>Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced production environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail and workmanship</li><li>Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet</li></ul>Preferred (Not Required):<ul><li>Experience working on roll-off containers, scrap bins, or waste equipment</li><li>Forklift experience</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li><li>Full-time hours</li><li>Opportunities for overtime</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
