Job Description:
McLaughlin Waste Equipment is looking for a skilled and reliable welder to join our team. We manufacture and repair waste equipment including roll-off containers, front load bins, compactors, and specialty steel products. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG welding and be comfortable working with heavy-gauge steel in a shop environment.

Responsibilities:

• MIG weld steel components for roll-off containers and waste equipment
• Read and follow shop drawings and measurements
• Perform fabrication, repairs, and modifications to containers
• Maintain weld quality and structural integrity of finished products
• Operate shop equipment such as grinders, torches, and cutting tools
• Work efficiently with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Welding experience required (MIG preferred)
• Fabrication experience
• Ability to weld heavy-gauge steel (10–14 gauge or heavier)
• Ability to read tape measures and basic shop drawings
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience working on roll-off containers, scrap bins, or waste equipment
• Forklift experience
