The role involves coordinating all aspects of funeral planning, ensuring families receive respectful, efficient, and culturally sensitive support during times of loss.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for bereaved families, providing guidance and emotional support with professionalism and empathy</li><li>Coordinate funeral service arrangements including scheduling, documentation, transportation, and venue preparation</li><li>Liaise with hospitals, embassies, religious institutions, cemeteries, and government authorities in Qatar</li><li>Ensure compliance with local laws, health regulations, and cultural/religious requirements</li><li>Arrange repatriation services for deceased individuals when required</li><li>Manage logistics such as embalming coordination, casket selection, and floral arrangements</li><li>Maintain accurate records, permits, and service documentation</li><li>Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of services</li><li>Handle sensitive situations with discretion, confidentiality, and respect at all times</li><li>Provide aftercare support and follow-up assistance to families when needed</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in funeral services, healthcare coordination, hospitality, or a related field preferred</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach</li><li>Ability to work under emotional and time-sensitive conditions</li><li>Knowledge of multicultural and religious funeral practices is an advantage</li><li>Familiarity with Qatar administrative procedures and documentation processes preferred</li><li>High level of organization and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call duties when required</li><li>Proficiency in English; additional languages (Arabic, Tagalog, Hindi, etc.) are an advantage</li></ul>Personal Attributes<ul><li>Empathetic and respectful demeanor</li><li>Calm under pressure</li><li>Reliable and discreet</li><li>Strong sense of duty and service</li></ul>Work EnvironmentThis role requires working in a sensitive, fast-paced environment where professionalism and compassion are essential.
