Funeral Services Coordinator

Position Summary
McWilliams-FH LLC is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and highly organized Funeral Services Coordinator to manage and oversee funeral service arrangements in Doha. The role involves coordinating all aspects of funeral planning, ensuring families receive respectful, efficient, and culturally sensitive support during times of loss.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for bereaved families, providing guidance and emotional support with professionalism and empathy
- Coordinate funeral service arrangements including scheduling, documentation, transportation, and venue preparation
- Liaise with hospitals, embassies, religious institutions, cemeteries, and government authorities in Qatar
- Ensure compliance with local laws, health regulations, and cultural/religious requirements
- Arrange repatriation services for deceased individuals when required
- Manage logistics such as embalming coordination, casket selection, and floral arrangements
- Maintain accurate records, permits, and service documentation
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of services
- Handle sensitive situations with discretion, confidentiality, and respect at all times
- Provide aftercare support and follow-up assistance to families when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in funeral services, healthcare coordination, hospitality, or a related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach
- Ability to work under emotional and time-sensitive conditions
- Knowledge of multicultural and religious funeral practices is an advantage
- Familiarity with Qatar administrative procedures and documentation processes preferred
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call duties when required
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (Arabic, Tagalog, Hindi, etc.) are an advantage
