This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment dedicated to oral health excellence.Duties<ul><li>Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and professionalism</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly using aseptic techniques</li><li>Take X-ray images, including digital 3D scans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations and radiation safety protocols</li><li>Manage patient records efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Archy to ensure accurate medical documentation and coding</li><li>Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient evaluations</li><li>Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries</li><li>Maintain strict infection control standards by following OSHA guidelines and ensuring all clinical areas are clean and organized for safe practice</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in the respective region or state</li><li>Proven experience in dental assisting within a busy dental clinic environment, with knowledge of general dentistry procedures and terminology</li><li>Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Archy; familiarity with medical records management and medical coding is highly desirable</li><li>Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, anatomy knowledge, and dental terminology</li><li>Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging devices safely and effectively</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics, providing compassionate care in pediatric dentistry settings</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times</li><li>Spanish speaking (not required by preferred)</li></ul>Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives through exceptional dental care!
