 ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

We&rsquo;re looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in City, State. The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays a key role in processing customer payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting billing operations across multiple divisions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with financial systems like Spectrum and contribute to cross-functional teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
<ul>
<li>Review, reconcile, and record complex customer payments to accounts receivable invoices in Spectrum</li>
<li>Develop a thorough understanding of Spectrum Accounts Receivables to provide guidance, answer questions, and assist divisional billing groups</li>
<li>Assist with weekly billing</li>
<li>Review and post WIP and billing batches, reviewing for accurate GL usage and accuracy</li>
<li>Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in deadline-oriented department</li>
<li>Maintain adherence to accuracy, organization, and detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks, simultaneous projects, and conflicting deadlines
</li><li>Work in a team environment to accomplish daily goals</li>
<li>Perform miscellaneous duties assigned</li>
</ul>
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience in accounting</li>
<li>Multi-company accounts receivable experience preferred</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software programs
</li><li>Demonstrate innovation and ability to effect change and deliver results</li>
<li>Possess strong problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Strong professional verbal and written communications skills</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>The physical activity and work environment required for this role includes:
<ul><li>Sitting for extended periods in an office environment</li>
<li>Frequently standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, bending and reaching</li>
<li>Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment
</li><li>Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds</li>
