ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in City, State. The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays a key role in processing customer payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting billing operations across multiple divisions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Review, reconcile, and record complex customer payments to accounts receivable invoices in Spectrum
• Develop a thorough understanding of Spectrum Accounts Receivables to provide guidance, answer questions, and assist divisional billing groups
• Assist with weekly billing
• Review and post WIP and billing batches, reviewing for accurate GL usage and accuracy
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in deadline-oriented department
• Maintain adherence to accuracy, organization, and detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks, simultaneous projects, and conflicting deadlines
• Work in a team environment to accomplish daily goals
• Perform miscellaneous duties assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• Multi-company accounts receivable experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software programs
• Demonstrate innovation and ability to effect change and deliver results
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Strong professional verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The physical activity and work environment required for this role includes:
  • Sitting for extended periods in an office environment
  • Frequently standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, bending and reaching
  • Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment
  • Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
