 Position Summary:
 
 
 We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HedgeOperations Specialist to join our aluminium trading operations team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with strong numerical and organizational skills who are looking to develop a career in commodity markets, particularly in the operational and risk-control aspects of trading. You will support the hedging lifecycle and ensure that derivative positions align accurately with physical trades.

 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 &bull; Assist in capturing and verifying hedge trades (e.g., LME futures, options) in internal trading systems.
 
 
 &bull; Reconcile physical aluminum positions with related financial hedges on a daily basis.
 
 
 &bull; Support the preparation of daily exposure, P&amp;L, and position reports for traders and management.
 
 
 &bull; Coordinate with trading, risk, and finance teams to ensure proper trade matching, booking, and settlement.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor the status of open hedges and flag discrepancies or mismatches for resolution.
 
 
 &bull; Help maintain hedge documentation and audit trails for compliance and regulatory purposes.
 
 
 &bull; Contribute to improvements in operational processes and data integrity.

 Qualifications:
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
 
 
 &bull; Strong attention to detail and high numerical accuracy.
 
 
 &bull; Interest in commodities, derivatives, and financial markets (especially metals trading).
 
 
 &bull; Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with trading or risk systems is a plus.
 
 
 &bull; Strong communication and teamwork skills.
 
 
 &bull; Eagerness to learn and develop within a fast-paced trading environment.

 &bull; Internship or academic project experience related to finance, operations, or trading.
 
 
 &bull; Exposure to futures and options markets (especially LME).
