Our capabilities include:<ul><li>Custom Ad Effectiveness &amp; Context Research &ndash; Full-service research measuring attention, emotion, memory, and brand impact, while examining how platform, content, co-viewing, and audience mindset influence ad performance. Conducted in-home across CTV, mobile, and desktop, emulating real-world viewing environments.</li><li>Lab-Based Neuro Research &ndash; Eye tracking, facial coding, EDA (skin conductance), heart rate, and other biometrics to capture non-conscious responses.</li><li>Self-Serve Testing Tools &ndash; Quick-turn, context-based ad tests clients can run with their own panels, featuring realistic replicas of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and CTV environments, plus AI-powered ad generation capabilities.</li></ul>Role Overview:We&rsquo;re seeking an ambitious and strategic Sales Executive to grow our business with brand advertisers and agencies, with a particular focus on building new relationships and presence within the Chicago and Midwest advertising ecosystem..This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and closing opportunities for our research services and tools - helping marketers measure and optimize ad effectiveness in real-world contexts.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting brand marketers and advertising agencies,. with an emphasis on Chicago- and Midwest-based relationships</li><li>Position MediaScience as a trusted research partner, emphasizing rigor, real-world relevance, and sales utility.</li><li>Prospect, qualify, and manage a pipeline of opportunities from first contact to close.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including insights leads, brand managers, media planners, and creative strategists.</li><li>Present MediaScience capabilities in compelling, consultative sales meetings and pitches.</li><li>Collaborate with internal research and operations teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.</li><li>Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.</li><li>Represent MediaScience at Chicago-area industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5-7+ years of sales experience in media, advertising, market research, or related field.</li><li>Proven network and track record of selling to brands and agencies.</li><li>Strong understanding of advertising effectiveness, media planning, and campaign measurement.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results.</li><li>Passion for media, advertising, research innovation, and experimental design.</li></ul>Why This Role?<ul><li>Opportunity to help build and shape MediaScience&rsquo;s Chicago presence, not just sell into existing networks</li><li>Direct access to MediaScience&rsquo;s Chicago-based lab, research teams, and leadership</li><li>Ability to sell differentiated, defensible research that resonates with both brand and agency decision-makers</li><li>High-impact role with meaningful upside and long-term growth opportunity</li></ul>Hybrid<ul><li>Expected to work a minimum of 1&ndash;2 days per week in the office, with additional in-office time as needed for meetings, client visits, and lab tours.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time, PermanentCompensation: Structure varies by candidate and experience and may include commission-only or base salary plus commission arrangements. Total on-target earnings typically range from $100,000&ndash;$250,000, based on performance and sales volume.
