Meethi Zindagi-USA (501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization)About Us Meethi Zindagi-USA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of members of the Pakistani community living with Type-1 Diabetes through support programs, awareness initiatives, education, and access to resources.Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fundraising Consultant / Grant Writer with a strong background in U.S. nonprofit fundraising, grant research, proposal development, and donor engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing funding from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and philanthropic organizations across the United States.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Research and identify grant opportunities from U.S.-based foundations, corporations, and government funding sources.</li><li>Develop, write, and submit compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, concept notes, and funding applications.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to gather program information, budgets, and supporting documentation.</li><li>Manage grant application timelines and ensure compliance with submission requirements.</li><li>Track grant outcomes, reporting deadlines, and donor communications.</li><li>Support broader fundraising initiatives and donor engagement strategies.</li><li>Maintain a grants calendar and funding pipeline.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in U.S. nonprofit fundraising and grant writing.</li><li>Demonstrated success in securing grants from foundations, corporate donors, philanthropic organizations, and individual donors.</li><li>Strong grant proposal writing, editing, research, and communication skills.</li><li>Experience developing grant budgets, funding narratives, and supporting documentation.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Knowledge of the U.S. nonprofit funding landscape, including foundation, corporate, and government funding opportunities.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online grant submission platforms.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working with nonprofit organizations, NGOs, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, or community development programs.</li><li>Familiarity with CRM and grant management systems such as Salesforce, Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, or similar platforms.</li><li>Understanding of donor stewardship, prospect research, and fundraising strategies.</li><li>Experience securing funding for health, diabetes, community health, immigrant, or underserved population initiatives.</li><li>Existing relationships with U.S.-based foundations, funders, or philanthropic networks are a plus.</li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor's degree required</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of grant writing and nonprofit fundraising experience in the United States.</li></ul>Location: Remote (U.S.-based candidates preferred).Work Location: Remote
