The HR Department is the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, owner operators, spouses, benefit brokers, etc. Lead and direct all areas within the Human Resources Department.Job Requirements:&middot; Years of Experience: 8-10 progressive human resources leadership. HR Generalist experience preferred.&middot; Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human resources or related work experience preferred.Essential Responsibilities:&middot; Know, support and enforce company policies and procedures.&middot; Providing orientations for new employees by sharing and collecting new hire information and explaining company policies.&middot; Maintaining employee records.&middot; Answering employee queries regarding basic HR and benefit questions.&middot; Coordinate company events.&middot; Develop and update documents and policies as needed.&middot; Recruiting &amp; staffing &ndash; manage all non-driver position ads, interviews and offers.&middot; Employee relations &ndash; manage the Social Committee, team building events and training.&middot; Compensation &ndash; manage, participate and monitor compensation surveys and programs.&middot; Benefits &ndash; manage all benefit broker relationships, evaluate contracts and establish new programs.&middot; Training &amp; development &ndash; identify needs and create programs for employee growth.&middot; Performance management &ndash; manage and conduct evaluations and provide feedback&middot; Strategic planning &ndash; advise leadership on workforce strategies and organizational structure&middot; Workers Compensation &ndash; advise and participate on the workers compensation.&middot; Safety Committee &ndash; lead and participate in OSHA safety initiatives company wide.&middot; Managing FMLA, EEO, ADA and other employer compliance according to employment laws.&middot; Other administrative duties as assignedQualifications/Skills:&middot; Knowledge of all areas of HR.&middot; Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal&middot; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail&middot; Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment&middot; Strong people skills are essential within this role&middot; Strong decision making and problem-solving abilitiesJob Type: Full-timePay: Based on education, experience, and credentialsBenefits:&middot; Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Rx&middot; PTO benefits&middot; 401k with company match&middot; Company paid Chiropractic&middot; Short Term Disability&middot; Life InsuranceJob Location: Rockford, IllinoisSupervisory Responsibilities: NonePhysical Requirements: &middot; Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer&middot; Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times&middot; Ability to climb stairs.Job Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
