Position Purpose:

The HR Manager leads the HR department across Meiborg Companies. The HR Department is the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, owner operators, spouses, benefit brokers, etc. Lead and direct all areas within the Human Resources Department.

Job Requirements:

· Years of Experience: 8-10 progressive human resources leadership. HR Generalist experience preferred.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related work experience preferred.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Know, support and enforce company policies and procedures.

· Providing orientations for new employees by sharing and collecting new hire information and explaining company policies.

· Maintaining employee records.

· Answering employee queries regarding basic HR and benefit questions.

· Coordinate company events.

· Develop and update documents and policies as needed.

· Recruiting & staffing – manage all non-driver position ads, interviews and offers.

· Employee relations – manage the Social Committee, team building events and training.

· Compensation – manage, participate and monitor compensation surveys and programs.

· Benefits – manage all benefit broker relationships, evaluate contracts and establish new programs.

· Training & development – identify needs and create programs for employee growth.

· Performance management – manage and conduct evaluations and provide feedback

· Strategic planning – advise leadership on workforce strategies and organizational structure

· Workers Compensation – advise and participate on the workers compensation.

· Safety Committee – lead and participate in OSHA safety initiatives company wide.

· Managing FMLA, EEO, ADA and other employer compliance according to employment laws.

· Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

· Knowledge of all areas of HR.

· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

· Strong people skills are essential within this role

· Strong decision making and problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Based on education, experience, and credentials

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
