Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Legal Assistant/Secretary to join our team and work in the areas of Trust and Estates, Business Formation, Corporate Law and Real Estate Law. Monday-Friday; 9:00-5:00Duties<ul><li>Keeping cases organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines.</li><li>Answering telephone calls; maintaining client contact; scheduling meetings.</li><li>Assisting attorneys with creating, formatting, and revising legal documents.</li><li>Straight typing, and proofreading work for accuracy prior to returning to attorneys.</li><li>Entering attorney time using SurePoint.</li><li>Scanning and e-mailing documents.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Have a minimum of 5 years of law firm experience.</li><li>Be proactive and able to assist with the preparation of legal documents, including but not limited to: Wills and related Trust documents, Contracts, Agreements, Notices, Motions, Affidavits and provide attorneys with administrative support.</li><li>Be able to be a proficient typist and have excellent spelling, grammar, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team member.</li><li>Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</li></ul>Join our team and contribute to the success of our legal practice!Job Type: Part-timePay: From $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
