Responsibilities:</h2>
The Logistics Team Lead will be an integral force of our order fulfillment process, coordinating teams handling inbound and outbound freight from our three manufacturing locations.<ul><li>
Receive raw materials, picking and preparing finished goods for shipments.</li><li>
Coordinate international freight for outbound shipments.</li><li>
Supervise loading of shipments of all modes, making sure shipments depart timely, complete, and documentation is accurate.</li><li>
Provides backup support for Shipping Coordinator (including completion of domestic and international shipping paperwork).</li><li>
Follow ISO procedures.</li><li>
Participates in Supply Chain team critical metric reviews.</li><li>
Conduct applicable training for Shipping team.</li><li>
Shipping 5S and Safety program oversight.</li><li>
Overtime availability required.</li></ul>
We expect to draw upon the following skills and qualifications:<ul><li>
Previous dock and forklift experience or previously held a production position at Mercury Plastics.</li><li>
Proficient in MS Office suite. Prepare reports, worksheets, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary.</li><li>
Ability to lead a team across multiple locations.</li><li>
Ability to perform varied and repetitive warehouse tasks including operation of forklift, hand truck and manual lifting of boxes at least 50 pounds.</li><li>
International Shipping Experience is a plus.</li><li>
Enter shipping transactions into ERP Manufacturing and customer web-based systems.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
