Job SummaryThe Hospital Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day administrative, operational, and support functions of the hospital. The role ensures smooth functioning of all non-clinical departments, resource optimization, and compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations to deliver high-quality patient care and service excellence.Key Responsibilities1. Administrative and Operational Management<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate all operational departments such as Housekeeping, Security, Front Office, Maintenance, Transport, and Biomedical Engineering.</li><li>Ensure seamless coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments for efficient hospital functioning.</li><li>Monitor hospital workflow, implement process improvements, and ensure operational efficiency.</li><li>Conduct daily hospital rounds to ensure service standards, safety, and cleanliness are maintained.</li></ul>2. Staff Management<ul><li>Oversee scheduling, attendance, and performance of support and administrative staff.</li><li>Ensure adequate staffing across shifts to meet operational demands.</li><li>Conduct regular training and evaluation for front-line and support service teams.</li><li>Promote a positive and disciplined work environment.</li></ul>3. Quality and Compliance<ul><li>Ensure compliance with NABH, statutory regulations, and hospital policies.</li><li>Support quality audits, internal inspections, and corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain documentation and reports required for quality management and accreditation.</li></ul>4. Resource and Facility Management<ul><li>Oversee hospital assets, equipment utilization, and facility maintenance.</li><li>Coordinate with the purchase and accounts teams for procurement and budgeting.</li><li>Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules are followed for all utilities and equipment.</li></ul>5. Patient Service &amp; Experience<ul><li>Ensure patient comfort, satisfaction, and timely service delivery.</li><li>Address and resolve patient complaints promptly and professionally.</li><li>Work closely with the front office, billing, and nursing teams to enhance patient experience.</li></ul>6.
