This role is crucial in supporting our President/CEO and other leadership team members by managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient operations, and contributing to our mission of serving youth and families.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the President/CEO and/or other assigned leadership staff.</li><li>Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, reports, and other documents as requested.</li><li>Provides support to the President/CEO in scheduling meetings, speaking engagements, and travel arrangements.</li><li>Interacts with and communicates regularly with internal and external stakeholders, team members and donors to facilitate effective and hospitable business relationships.</li><li>Prepares information for and supports board committee meetings and full board meetings.</li><li>Maintains critical agency records, policies and procedures.</li><li>Conducts research and prepares information in such a way as to support executive decision making.</li><li>Utilizes appropriate Sanctuary tools when interacting with colleagues and residents.</li><li>Exercises excellent judgment in decision making and maintains a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.</li><li>Adheres to the seven commitments of Sanctuary when carrying out work responsibilities.</li><li>Completes assignments in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Is willing to take on additional responsibility in a positive manner.</li><li>Complete training necessary to perform position consistent with program and agency staff development plans.</li><li>Uphold the mission, vision and values of The Methodist Home.</li></ul>Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: <ul><li>Associate degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred with four years&rsquo; experience in an administrative role supporting upper management or</li><li>Six plus years of experience in an administrative role supporting upper management in lieu of a degree.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.</li><li>Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.</li><li>Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.</li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities.</li><li>Must possess the flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.</li><li>Must have a valid Driver&rsquo;s License with minimum of four-year driving history and the ability to meet and remain in good standing in accordance with Agency insurance guidelines.</li><li>Must have proficient computer knowledge.</li><li>Ability to meet and handle the public with tact and poise.</li><li>Maintain high level of confidentiality.</li><li>Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to understand and consistently implement policies and procedures of the Agency.</li><li>Ability to show sensitivity and emotional intelligence in response to cultural differences.</li></ul>Essential Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Duties are performed in a variety of environments ranging from highly stressful to casual and leisurely.
