Job Overview:Metro Mechanical Services Inc. is looking for a dedicated and eager HVAC Apprentice/Helper to join our growing team. As an HVAC Apprentice/Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist with Installations: Help senior technicians with the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring all components are properly fitted and functioning.</li><li>Maintenance Support: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting system components.</li><li>Repair Assistance: Aid in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues, including replacing faulty parts and troubleshooting problems.</li><li>Tool Handling: Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.</li><li>Worksite Management: Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.</li><li>Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.</li><li>Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and components.</li><li>Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li><li>Must have a clean driver record - No major violations.
