Role OverviewThe Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the organization&rsquo;s presence across social media platforms. The role focuses on building engagement, maintaining brand voice, and supporting campaign objectives through consistent and data-driven content.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and manage day-to-day social media activities across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube</li><li>Create monthly content calendars aligned with campaign goals and communication strategy</li><li>Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and content writers for timely delivery of posts</li><li>Write clear captions, hashtags, and basic ad copies as per platform requirements</li><li>Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, and respond in a professional manner</li><li>Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, impressions, and follower growth</li><li>Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations</li><li>Manage paid social media campaigns in coordination with the digital marketing team</li><li>Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and government communication norms (where applicable)</li><li>Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field</li><li>Proven experience handling social media accounts for brands, agencies, or government projects</li><li>Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools</li><li>Basic knowledge of paid advertising and campaign optimization</li><li>Good writing and communication skills in English and Hindi (Punjabi is a plus, if relevant)</li><li>Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines efficiently</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Experience in social sector, IEC campaigns, or government communication projects</li><li>Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms</li><li>Experience working with multimedia content and short-form videos</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>Growth in followers and engagement rate</li><li>Timely execution of content calendars</li><li>Campaign reach and performance</li><li>Quality and consistency of brand communication</li></ul>Job Type: Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 18 monthsPay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
