Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a high level of patient care and service. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient intake processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Duties<ul><li>Assist healthcare professionals in outpatient setting.</li><li>Perform patient intake procedures, including obtaining vital signs and medical history.</li><li>documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.in knowledge of ICD coding for accurate billing and insurance processing.</li><li>Support patient care by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during procedures.</li><li>Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and follow-up appointments.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Uphold basic life support (BLS) protocols and respond to emergencies as needed.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to patient care.</li><li>Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.</li><li>Experience with EHR systems for efficient documentation and retrieval of patient information.</li><li>Proficiency in insurance verification</li><li>Familiarity with care protocols .</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.</li><li>Experience in inpatient settings is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.
