If you have expertise in animation, illustration, and content creation, and a passion for the cannabis industry, we want to hear from you!Job Summary:The Graphic Designer will play a key role in developing visually stunning content that enhances our brand presence and engages our audience. This role requires proficiency in animation and illustration, along with a strong background in overall content creation. Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred but not required.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Content Creation: Design and produce diverse visual content, including animations, illustrations, graphics for digital and print media, and multimedia presentations that reflect the High Society Cannabis brand.</li><li>Animation: Create captivating animations and motion graphics for digital marketing campaigns, social media, and other multimedia platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness.</li><li>Illustration: Develop original illustrations that align with our brand&rsquo;s identity and contribute to compelling storytelling across various channels.</li><li>Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive look and feel across all platforms.</li><li>Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, social media, and product teams to conceptualize and execute design projects that align with strategic goals and enhance brand messaging.</li><li>Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail.</li><li>Industry Trends: Stay abreast of design trends, tools, and technologies, particularly within the cannabis industry, to keep our visual content fresh and innovative.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer with a portfolio showcasing expertise in animation, illustration, and content creation.</li><li>Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific design needs and branding.</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) and other design software.</li><li>Strong animation skills with experience in creating engaging motion graphics and visual effects.</li><li>Excellent illustration abilities, with a portfolio that includes various styles and techniques.</li><li>Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills.</li></ul>Additional Skills:<ul><li>Familiarity with web design and UX/UI principles.</li><li>Experience using Canva</li><li>Experience with video editing and content management systems.</li><li>Knowledge of cannabis industry branding and marketing strategies.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 &ndash; 40 per weekWork Location: In person
