Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer will play a key role in developing visually stunning content that enhances our brand presence and engages our audience. This role requires proficiency in animation and illustration, along with a strong background in overall content creation. Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Design and produce diverse visual content, including animations, illustrations, graphics for digital and print media, and multimedia presentations that reflect the High Society Cannabis brand.
• Animation: Create captivating animations and motion graphics for digital marketing campaigns, social media, and other multimedia platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness.
• Illustration: Develop original illustrations that align with our brand’s identity and contribute to compelling storytelling across various channels.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive look and feel across all platforms.
• Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, social media, and product teams to conceptualize and execute design projects that align with strategic goals and enhance brand messaging.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail.
• Industry Trends: Stay abreast of design trends, tools, and technologies, particularly within the cannabis industry, to keep our visual content fresh and innovative.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer with a portfolio showcasing expertise in animation, illustration, and content creation.
• Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific design needs and branding.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) and other design software.
• Strong animation skills with experience in creating engaging motion graphics and visual effects.
• Excellent illustration abilities, with a portfolio that includes various styles and techniques.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with web design and UX/UI principles.
• Experience using Canva
• Experience with video editing and content management systems.
• Knowledge of cannabis industry branding and marketing strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
