Position Summary:
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator to lead Instagram content creation and scheduling for Rated Red and our affiliated Like A Farmer podcast. This full-time contract role is based in our Midtown Nashville office and studio, and will be central to the visual voice of our brand on Instagram.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Original Posts: Design and write compelling single-image posts with strong headlines and carousel-style posts for news and lifestyle stories tailored to the Rated Red and Like A Farmer audiences.
• Video Scheduling: Prepare and schedule video clips from our original series for Instagram feed and Reels.
• Content Planning: Collaborate with editorial and video teams to plan content calendars for both Rated Red and Like A Farmer Instagram channels.
• Post Scheduling & Publishing: Manage publishing through scheduling tools and ensure timely, consistent posting aligned with engagement trends.
• Trend Monitoring: Keep an eye on what's trending and pitch new content ideas that align with our brand voice and values.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain visual and editorial consistency across all Instagram content.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience managing Instagram content for a brand, media company, or podcast
• Strong design and writing skills with an eye for visual storytelling and headline creation
• Proficiency in tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar for creating image posts
• Experience with social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer)
• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, carousels, and video clipping tools
• Passion for news, lifestyle, and Southern culture a strong plus
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at our Nashville office/studio

Details:

• Type: Full-Time Contract
• Location: On-site in Midtown Nashville, TN
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours with flexibility for occasional after-hours posting
