Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental administrative support and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills. As a Dental Front Office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing excellent patient service, and maintaining accurate dental records. Having back office experience is a plus.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and answering multi-line phone systems.</li><li>Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all information.</li><li>Assist with insurance verification and dental billing processes.</li><li>Support the dental team by preparing treatment rooms, perio charting, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during procedures as needed.</li><li>Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary information is collected for patient care plans.</li><li>Handle dental collections and follow up on outstanding accounts while providing excellent customer service to patients.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to create a positive office experience that fosters patient satisfaction and retention.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting, demonstrating familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental coding practices.</li><li>Experience with Softdent</li><li>Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and typing skills.</li><li>Bilingual abilities are advantageous to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with patients.</li><li>Position is for Mondays and Thursdays with a future possibility of more days.</li><li>Please email your resume to doctor@furumotodentistry.com and we will contact you.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hourExpected hours: 8 &ndash; 16 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
