Asphalt Paver OperatorMichael's Asphalt PavingMichael's Asphalt Paving is a small, locally owned paving company based in Atlanta. We run a tight crew and do solid work. We're hiring an experienced Asphalt Paver Operator.This is a hands-on job. You run the paver, and you pitch in with the crew when the work calls for it.What you'll do<ul><li>Operate the asphalt paver to lay mat to the right depth, grade, and slope</li><li>Control speed, material flow, and screed settings for a consistent, smooth mat</li><li>Work with the foreman, roller operators, and crew to keep production moving</li><li>Run daily equipment checks and basic maintenance &mdash; grease, clean, minor adjustments</li><li>Adjust to job conditions, weather, and site layout</li><li>Help with handwork, shovel work, and jobsite cleanup as needed</li></ul>What you need<ul><li>Solid understanding of mat thickness, grade, slope, and paving technique</li><li>Valid driver's license</li><li>Dependable, on time, and ready to work</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for long stretches, and climb in and out of equipment</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors</li><li>Able to work early mornings and long days; occasional weekends</li></ul>Michael's Asphalt Paving is an equal opportunity employer.Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourWork Location: In person
