We have a broad-based background and are thoroughly proficient in a diverse range of industries.Our Manteca Laboratory provides a wide range of services and is staffed with industry leading analyst. We are expanding our Manteca Laboratory in our Manteca location and are looking for a Laboratory Technician. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing analytical testing needs of food products, to an extensive spectrum of customers. The position works closely with the Laboratory Manager for analytical functions to support and ensure fast turn-around time and high-quality service.Responsibilities for Laboratory Technician:&middot; Performing Chemistry / Microbiological testing in both food and environmental samples&middot; Maintaining records of testing, quality activities, and chemical / microbiological preparations as documented in SOPs and test methods-Perform serial dilutions, sample enrichments, plating of microbial samples-Perform titrations and extractions for chemical analysis-Operate analytical instruments such as PCR, HPLC, ELISA-VIDAS, and VITEK&middot; Ensure all analyses meet the turnaround time&middot; Maintaining a clean and organized work area&middot; Sample Pickup at customer facilities as needed&middot; Other duties as assignedQualifications for Laboratory Technician:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or other closely related sciences preferred.&middot; Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills&middot; Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities&middot; Problem-solving / trouble-shooting &ndash; is able to look upon problems as exciting challenges / critical thinking&middot; Positive / Professional AttitudeBenefits for Laboratory Technician: &middot; Medical (PPO/HMO)&middot; Dental (PPO/HMO)&middot; Vision (VSP)&middot; Life Insurance&middot; 401K&middot; Sick / Vacation / HolidayThis Laboratory Technician position is full-time. We are expanding our Courier department and our looking for a Driver/Courier/Field Technician. The Driver/Courier/Field Technician position performs day to day route operations by serving our customer needs with protected and dependable delivery of food samples and performing various fieldwork's. Responsibilities for Driver/Courier/Field Technician:<ul><li>Delivery of food samples in a safe and timely manner</li><li>Account for safe completion of assigned routes / sampling</li><li>Perform FDA detained product sampling</li><li>Wash glassware, grind and prepare samples as needed</li><li>Complete and comply to the Driver Safety Program</li><li>Must follow and comply to vehicle maintenance program/schedule</li><li>Maintain clean vehicles and maintain daily supplies well organized</li><li>Comply and maintain the driving record acceptability standard</li><li>Communicate and document with laboratory management team and customers</li><li>Perform all work in uniform and safety attire. Report to work well groomed, clean, and dressed according to the requirements of your assigned field work.</li><li>Must follow Good Laboratory Procedures (GLP&rsquo;s)</li><li>Follow all documentation requirements and ability to follow instruction and complete required training</li><li>Ability to work independently and/or as a team member</li></ul>Minimum Requirements for Driver/Courier/Field Technician:<ul><li>1-2 years of professional driving experience &ndash; must be knowledgeable of southern California roads and freeways</li><li>High School diploma or G.E.D.</li><li>Current valid driver&rsquo;s license &ndash; Class C issued in California</li><li>Clean driving records with no DUI&rsquo;s, no major violations or accidents within the past 3 years &ndash; no exceptions</li><li>Must be able to push or lift 60 lbs.</li><li>Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime when needed.</li></ul>Benefits for Driver/Courier/Field Technician:<ul><li>Medical (PPO/HMO)</li><li>Dental (PPO/HMO)</li><li>Vision (VSP)</li><li>Life</li><li>401K</li><li>Sick / Vacation / Holiday</li></ul>This is a full-time position.
