Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your medical office experience and thrive in a fast-paced dental clinic setting.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and enthusiasm</li><li>Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software Denticon</li><li>Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing using systems</li><li>Familaritly with Indiana Medicaid</li><li>Maintain precise medical records, update patient information, and review documentation for accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear information and scheduling support</li><li>Assist with insurance verification, claim submissions, and follow-up on unpaid accounts or outstanding balances</li><li>Support clinical staff by managing patient intake forms, medical history updates, and care plan documentation</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a dental clinic or healthcare setting</li><li>Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Denticon.</li><li>Knowledge of Dental terminology, CDT coding, and Dental billing procedures</li><li>Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially in accordance with HIPAA standards</li><li>Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively</li><li>Previous clinic or hospital experience that demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities</li></ul>Join us in delivering exceptional patient care through efficient administrative support!
