Overview We are looking for a skilled Law Firm Billing and Accounting Specialist to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks.Responsibilities&middot; Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department&middot; Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records&middot; Prepare bank deposits&middot; Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database&middot; Provide assistance and support to company personnel&middot; Run monthly invoices and submit electronic billing when required&middot; Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies&middot; Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas&middot; Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable lawsRequirement3-5 years Legal Billing Experience&middot; Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures&middot; Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software&middot; Experience with Orion a plus&middot; Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports&middot; Accuracy and attention to detail&middot; Legal Industry experience&middot; Aptitude for numbers&middot; Well organized&middot; Associate&rsquo;s degree or relevant certificationAbout Mickes O'Toole, LLCMickes O&rsquo;Toole, LLC is a full-service law firm dedicated to serving clients as a valued counselor and advocate.
