MicroTech Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Manager who will oversee QC, production, Operations and manage prototype development and prequalification processes for cable products.Key Responsibilities:The key responsibilities for the position are as follows:<ul><li>Implement and monitor QC procedures for raw materials, in-process production, and finished cables.</li><li>Ensure compliance with national/international standards</li><li>Lead quality audits and develop corrective &amp; preventive actions</li><li>Optimize machine utilization, manpower, and production efficiency.</li><li>Resolve production issues related to material defects, process deviations, or machine performance.</li><li>Lead prototype manufacturing for new cable products as per tender or client requirements.</li><li>Prepare technical documentation for prequalification and product approval.</li><li>Ensure successful completion of prototype evaluation for WAPDA.</li><li>Understand WAPDA tender specs, compliance sheets, and technical evaluation criteria.</li><li>Support the tendering team with technical inputs, documentation, and clarifications.</li><li>Coordinate with WAPDA officials for inspections, sample submissions, and approvals.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Strong understanding of cable manufacturing processes and machinery.</li><li>Must have experience of initial setup of a cable manufacturing unit.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of QC/testing methods for cables.</li><li>Familiarity with WAPDA tender processes and prequalification requirements.</li><li>Excellent communication and coordination skills (internal &amp; external).</li><li>Problem-solving attitude with analytical thinking.</li><li>Ability to lead teams and manage production-floor challenges.</li></ul>Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or a related field.
