Manager - Quality & Production

MicroTech Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Manager who will oversee QC, production, Operations and manage prototype development and prequalification processes for cable products.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities for the position are as follows:

• Implement and monitor QC procedures for raw materials, in-process production, and finished cables.
• Ensure compliance with national/international standards
• Lead quality audits and develop corrective & preventive actions
• Optimize machine utilization, manpower, and production efficiency.
• Resolve production issues related to material defects, process deviations, or machine performance.
• Lead prototype manufacturing for new cable products as per tender or client requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation for prequalification and product approval.
• Ensure successful completion of prototype evaluation for WAPDA.
• Understand WAPDA tender specs, compliance sheets, and technical evaluation criteria.
• Support the tendering team with technical inputs, documentation, and clarifications.
• Coordinate with WAPDA officials for inspections, sample submissions, and approvals.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of cable manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Must have experience of initial setup of a cable manufacturing unit.
• In-depth knowledge of QC/testing methods for cables.
• Familiarity with WAPDA tender processes and prequalification requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills (internal & external).
• Problem-solving attitude with analytical thinking.
• Ability to lead teams and manage production-floor challenges.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or a related field. Masters in Business Administration will be a plus.
