</div><p>The student will be responsible for answering general financial aid questions and receiving financial aid documents. As well assisting students to complete their FAFSA online.</p>

Responsibilities</b></h2>

<div></div><div><ul><li>Perform clerical or data entry tasks and file important documents accordingly.</li><li>
Prepare outgoing mail as assigned.</li><li>
Scan, copy and retrieve documents as required by Financial Aid Office</li><li>
Assist in separating and time-stamping incoming mail for distribution.</li><li>
Make phone calls to prospective and enrolled students.</li><li>
Support the front office staff, covering the reception area, as needed.</li><li>
Copy, sort, and compile various financial packets for outreach recruitment events.</li><li>
Maintain all work areas in a clean and organized manner.</li><li>
Maintain his/her academic work load while handling a work study job opportunity.</li><li>
Must be dependable and prompt.</li><li>
Must adhere to the code of confidentiality of The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requirements as aligned with the University System of Georgia and MGA.</li><li>
Be cordial to all students, staff, faculty and visitors entering the office.</li></ul>

</div><p><b>Issue Admissions Decisions for Incoming and Returning Students (65%) -</b><br>
Evaluate student files, to include test scores and other supporting documents, to determine admissibility to the institution.<br>
Enter student data into the computerized database.<br>
Maintain data integrity.<br>
Use multiple information systems to evaluate and process student files.<br>
<br>
<b>Serves Students and Family Members, Facutly, and Other Staff with Outstanding Customer Service (35%) -</b><br>
Communicate with potential students regarding admission and enrollment into the University.<br>
Collaborate with recruitment, advisement, and other internal entities to ensure seamless transition through the enrollment phases.<br>
Provide campus tours to prospective students, as needed.<br>
Perform related duties as assigned.</p>
