Job Summary We are actively seeking motivated Fiber Optic and Cat5 Cabling Technicians to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, splicing, and maintaining fiber optic and Ethernet cabling systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure high-quality network connectivity, supporting critical telecommunication infrastructure. Join us to help build reliable, cutting-edge networks that power modern communication!Duties<ul><li>Install and terminate fiber optic cables, including performing precise splicing and testing to ensure optimal signal transmission</li><li>Set up and configure network equipment such as Cisco routers, switches, and Ethernet systems in accordance with industry standards</li><li>Conduct cable pulls, routing, and termination of Cat5/Cat6 cabling in commercial environments</li><li>Use hand tools, low voltage testers, ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to troubleshoot and verify cable integrity</li><li>Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on existing cabling infrastructure while adhering to safety protocols</li><li>Document installation processes, test results, and system configurations accurately for project records</li><li>Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met efficiently and effectively</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in fiber splicing, network installation, or telecommunication field service roles</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools and testing devices such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers</li><li>Knowledge of computer networking concepts including Ethernet wiring standards and telephony systems</li><li>Familiarity with Cisco routers, switches, and basic network configuration is highly desirable</li><li>Electrical experience or background in low voltage wiring is a plus</li><li>Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics accurately</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance</li></ul>Join our team if you&rsquo;re passionate about telecommunications technology!
