Legal Assistant &ndash; Midtown Law (Southern Pines, NC)Midtown Law is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its Sandhills office. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in real estate transactions along with a strong desire to expand their skills and take on greater responsibility. In this role, the candidate will assist with pre- and post-closing tasks, providing essential support to attorneys and paralegals throughout each transaction. A working knowledge of Qualia is required to effectively manage files and ensure a seamless closing workflow.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with pre-closing tasks such opening files, ordering HOA estoppel letters and obtaining loan payoffs</li><li>Assist with preparation of closing documents, including settlement statements</li><li>Support post-closing tasks such as recording documents, scanning files, and disbursing funds</li><li>Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations while delivering outstanding service to clients and guests</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1&ndash;2 years of experience in a real estate law office or title company preferred</li><li>Familiarity with real estate pre- and post-closing procedures</li><li>Required: proficiency in Qualia software</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication and client service skills</li></ul>Work Details<ul><li>Starting salary: From $45,000 annually, commensurate with experience</li><li>Benefits: Comprehensive package included</li><li>Work Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm</li></ul>Interested candidates should submit their application and resume exclusively through Indeed.
