We have an immediate need for a Full Time Daycare Teacher for our Toddler Room.If you have a heart for young children and are a dependable team member then we would love for you to join our team!This position is day shift, Full Time, Monday - Friday.Scope of Responsibilities:<ul><li>Follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material</li><li>Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises</li><li>Provide basic care and care-giving activities</li><li>Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child&rsquo;s abilities</li><li>Evaluate children&rsquo;s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track</li><li>Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children</li><li>Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action</li><li>Collaborate with other colleagues</li><li>Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the PA Dept. of Human Services</li><li>Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment</li><li>Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe</li><li>Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning</li><li>Work with teachers to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High School Diploma</li><li>2 years or more of experience working with children</li><li>State &amp; Federal Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
