Our mission is to ensure access to justice, empowerment, and safety for low-income individuals through professional legal advocacy.Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and professionally fluent Bilingual Legal Administrative Assistant. This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational efficiency of our Orlando office and extending our reach within the community. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support, manage sensitive client intake processes, and represent the organization in formal settings, including consulate visits and community outreach initiatives.Key Responsibilities1. Legal Administration &amp; Case Management<ul><li>Execute comprehensive administrative duties: filing, document preparation, data entry, and meticulous record-keeping.</li><li>Manage high-volume correspondence and coordinate internal/external communications with stakeholders.</li><li>Facilitate case follow-up and ensure all documentation meets the standards required for legal filings.</li></ul>2. Client Relations &amp; Intake<ul><li>Conduct professional bilingual intake interviews (English/Spanish) for potential clients with sensitivity and discretion.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses regarding case status.</li><li>Coordinate scheduling for legal consultations and appointments.</li></ul>3. Field Representation &amp; Outreach<ul><li>Consulate Liaison: Represent the organization during weekly consulate visits to facilitate client services.</li><li>Community Engagement: Lead &quot;Know Your Rights&quot; presentations and represent Mil Mujeres at community events and partner initiatives.</li><li>Network Development: Support the growth of our local impact through strategic community presence.</li></ul>Operational Structure (Hybrid Model)This position requires a disciplined professional capable of transitioning between on-site and remote environments.<ul><li>In-Person (Monday, Wednesday, Friday):</li><li>On-site: Administrative and office operations at our Maitland location.</li><li>Field-based: One day dedicated to Consulate visits and one day dedicated to Community Outreach.</li><li>Remote (Tuesday and Thursday):</li><li>Administrative tasks, case follow-up, and documentation via virtual platforms.</li><li>Standard Schedule: 9:00 a.m. &ndash; 1:00 p.m.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Language Proficiency: Native or professional-level fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
