The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the use of precision measuring instruments. The CNC Machinist will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and efficient production workflows within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities :CNC Experience<ul><li>4+ years hands-on CNC machining, including programming and setup (Haas mills strongly preferred).</li><li>Comfortable with 3-axis and 4/5-axis workholding, setup, and operation.</li></ul>Programming &amp; CAM<ul><li>Proficient in CAM (Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar) for toolpaths, posts, and simulation.</li><li>Able to read/modify G-code at the control and troubleshoot programs on the machine.</li></ul>Fixturing &amp; Workholding<ul><li>Strong fixturing skills, including soft jaws, modular vises, and custom fixtures.</li><li>Experience planning setups for low-volume, high-mix parts and repeatable production.</li></ul>Materials, Processes &amp; Additive<ul><li>Primary experience in aluminum; capable with steel, stainless, cast iron, and occasional other alloys/plastics.</li><li>Experience performing secondary ops on laser-cut and flat-stock parts (facing, drilling, tapping, surfacing).</li><li>Knowledge and competency in FDM/SLA 3D printing for fixtures, guards, and prototype tooling.</li></ul>Print Reading &amp; Quality<ul><li>Strong print reading and GD&amp;T literacy; comfortable holding tight tolerances and surface finish requirements.</li><li>Experience with basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges) and first-article checks.</li></ul>Shop &amp; Process Ownership<ul><li>Willingness to help define and improve CNC standards, tooling libraries, setup sheets, and workflows.</li><li>Strong communication, ability to work with engineers and fabricators, and comfort in a fast-paced, startup environment.</li></ul>Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
