This role involves ensuring that all carpentry work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Carpentry Foreman acts as the link between the workforce and site/project management.Key Responsibilities:Supervision &amp; Leadership:<ul><li>Lead a team of carpenters, apprentices, and laborers.</li><li>Delegate tasks and manage daily work schedules.</li><li>Provide hands-on guidance and support as needed.</li><li>Conduct regular toolbox talks and team briefings.</li></ul>Project Execution:<ul><li>Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.</li><li>The candidate must be well-versed in the production of MDF, core-based, wooden doors.</li><li>The candidate must possess strong manufacturing skills in wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, Fit out, and customized furniture.</li><li>Plan, organize, and supervise carpentry activities on construction sites.</li><li>Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.</li><li>Identify and address any defects or issues promptly.</li><li>Ensure all carpentry tasks, such as framing, trimming, installation, and finishing, are executed to the highest standards.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and maintain an accurate record of materials used.</li><li>Optimize the use of resources to minimize waste and reduce costs.</li><li>Ensure accurate and efficient execution of framing, formwork, roofing, partitions, doors, and finish carpentry.</li><li>Oversee construction of temporary structures like scaffolding and formwork (if applicable).</li><li>Coordinate with other trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) to avoid conflicts and delays.</li></ul>Quality Assurance:<ul><li>Ensure all carpentry work meets design specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Inspect finished work and correct any deficiencies.</li><li>Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.</li></ul>Health &amp; Safety:<ul><li>Enforce compliance with site safety regulations and company policies.</li><li>Identify and mitigate hazards.</li><li>Report and document accidents or incidents.</li></ul>Materials &amp; Tools Management:<ul><li>Monitor and manage use of tools, equipment, and materials.</li><li>Order supplies in advance to avoid project delays.</li><li>Ensure proper care, storage, and maintenance of tools.</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Coordination:<ul><li>Communicate progress, issues, and resource needs to site or project managers.</li><li>Keep daily records of labor, materials used, and work completed.</li><li>Assist in planning schedules and coordinating with subcontractors.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong carpentry skills and construction knowledge</li><li>Proven ability to lead and motivate teams</li><li>Solid understanding of construction drawings and methods</li><li>Good organizational and time-management skills</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to safety</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeJob Type: Full-timePay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month

Wood Carpentry Foreman

Job Summary:The Wood Finishing Carpenter is responsible for performing high-quality finishing and installation works on wooden components such as doors, frames, skirting, cabinets, furniture, and decorative items. The role requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and knowledge of various finishing materials and techniques to achieve the required aesthetic and quality standards in accordance with project specifications and Qatar Construction Standards (QCS).Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform all types of finishing carpentry works including installation, repair, and polishing of wood and joinery components.</li><li>Fabricate &amp; Install Wooden doors, frames, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, wall cladding, skirting, shelves, and decorative panels.</li><li>Fabricate &amp; Install Wooden Cupboards, Kitchen Cabinets, Office tables, Drawers and must having good experience in PVC lipping and edge bending process.</li><li>Prepare and finish surfaces by sanding, staining, sealing, varnishing, or applying polyurethane and other coatings.</li><li>Carry out repair and touch-up works on damaged or defective wood surfaces at the site.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and alignment during fitting, fixing, and installation as per approved shop drawings.</li><li>Select appropriate tools, materials, and finishing products as required for the job.</li><li>Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and ensure a clean, organized work area.</li><li>Follow company HSE procedures and use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.</li><li>Coordinate with site supervisors, painters, and polishers to ensure smooth completion of finishing works.</li><li>Report daily progress, material shortages, and site issues to the site foreman or engineer.</li><li>Comply with all Qatar Labor and Safety Regulations and project quality standards.</li></ul>Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>Experience: Minimum 5&ndash;7 years of relevant experience in carpentry and finishing works, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.</li><li>Skills &amp; Competencies:</li><li>Knowledge of modern carpentry tools, machinery, and finishing materials.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret drawings and finish schedules.</li><li>Good understanding of finishing techniques (staining, varnishing, PU coating, etc.).</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.</li><li>Teamwork and communication skills.</li><li>Awareness of safety standards and site discipline.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR1,800.00 per month
