We are searching for a qualified and self-motivated Medication Clerk to join our PM Shift assisted living team.The ideal medication clerk will be extremely detail-oriented and possess in-depth knowledge of medication procedures. Providing excellent care is a vital part of this job, which is why excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Deliver routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to residents.</li><li>Coordinate with staff, residents' healthcare providers and families to ensure residents' needs are met.</li><li>Follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications.</li><li>Record medication dosages and times.</li><li>Monitor residents and notify team of any changes in their condition.</li><li>Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned.</li><li>Uphold all health and safety standards.</li><li>Respond to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or relevant qualification.</li><li>Previous experience as a medication clerk a plus.</li><li>Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.</li></ul>Training is provided in the following areas:<ul><li>Infectious disease control policies</li><li>Policies and procedures concerning resident care and of administering the procedures correctly</li><li>Record keeping duties regarding residents that must be performed</li><li>In-service training workshops, seminars, and meetings</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li><li>Night Shift (Preferred)</li><li>Overnight Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
