With a lean and collaborative team, we pride ourselves on efficiency, accountability, and long-term relationships&mdash;with both our clients and our employees.About the RoleWe are seeking a Project/Staff Accountant to join our team. The role will support both the Executive Leadership Team and Office staff. The role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with project-based financial oversight. You&rsquo;ll execute multiple general ledger activities, execute both Field and Office Payroll, assist with month-end and year-end close, and provide financial analysis for ongoing projects.The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, self-starter and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly. Additionally, the candidate must be able to handle confidential information, be a solid communicator as well as demonstrate the ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee project accounting, including tracking budgets, costs, and profitability</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare and analyze financial statements and project reports</li></ul><ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting functions (AP, AR, Job Cost, Payroll and GL entries)</li></ul><ul><li>Execute and deliver AIA-G702/G703 client based Billing &amp; Compliance requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide accurate &amp; timely Accounting, Finance and Operational reporting.</li></ul><ul><li>Support month-end and year-end close processes</li></ul><ul><li>Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost allocation</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with audits and compliance reporting</li></ul><ul><li>Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li></ul><ul><li>5-7+ years of experience in accounting, with exposure to project-based work</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in MS-Office, Excel and accounting systems QuickBooks Contractors Enterprise Edition, Plexxis</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities reliably and with patience and professionalism</li></ul><ul><li>Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to quickly learn the organizational structure and objectives of the team</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of constituent groups such as senior management, peers in addition to customers, vendors and suppliers</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with job costing and project profitability analysis</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of construction accounting</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel functions</li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration</li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting</li></ul>Career Growth PathBased upon performance, this role offers potential senior accounting positions with opportunities to lead project financial strategy and as the company continues to grow, believe and demonstrate a T.E.A.M. based philosophy (Together Everyone Achieves More).What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive compensation and benefits</li></ul><ul><li>Opportunity to work on diverse projects in a growing company</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborative, team-oriented culture</li></ul><ul><li>Stability and long-term career potential</li></ul>Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
