Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maryland Certified Residential Child Care Program Administrator, where you will lead and oversee the daily operations of a specialized residential program dedicated to supporting children and youth in need. Your leadership will drive program excellence, promote positive outcomes for residents, and support staff development in a vibrant community setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage the overall operation of the residential child care program, including staff supervision, resident care, and administrative functions.</li><li>Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs, including behavioral health and developmental goals.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, state laws, and organizational policies related to child welfare and residential care.</li><li>Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-quality team dedicated to resident well-being.</li><li>Coordinate with external agencies such as social services, healthcare providers, and educational institutions to support residents&rsquo; holistic needs.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, incident reports, care plans, and program records while ensuring confidentiality.</li><li>Manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation to sustain operational efficiency.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid Maryland Certified Residential Child Care Program Administrator license or equivalent credential.</li><li>Proven experience in assisted living, group home management, or long-term care settings involving children or youth with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.</li><li>Strong background in managing care plans for residents with dementia care or memory-related conditions is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising teams in home &amp; community care environments or senior care facilities such as retirement homes or nursing homes.</li><li>Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures relevant to child welfare programs.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with experience in budgeting, operations management, and compliance oversight.</li><li>Compassionate communicator with social work background or experience working closely with families and external agencies involved in child welfare.
