Join our dynamic team as a Maryland Certified Residential Child Care Program Administrator, where you will lead and oversee the daily operations of a specialized residential program dedicated to supporting children and youth in need. Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operation of the residential child care program, including staff supervision, resident care, and administrative functions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs, including behavioral health and developmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, state laws, and organizational policies related to child welfare and residential care.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-quality team dedicated to resident well-being.
  • Coordinate with external agencies such as social services, healthcare providers, and educational institutions to support residents’ holistic needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, incident reports, care plans, and program records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation to sustain operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Valid Maryland Certified Residential Child Care Program Administrator license or equivalent credential.
  • Proven experience in assisted living, group home management, or long-term care settings involving children or youth with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
  • Strong background in managing care plans for residents with dementia care or memory-related conditions is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising teams in home & community care environments or senior care facilities such as retirement homes or nursing homes.
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures relevant to child welfare programs.
  • Excellent organizational skills with experience in budgeting, operations management, and compliance oversight.
  • Compassionate communicator with social work background or experience working closely with families and external agencies involved in child welfare. Pay: $24.58 - $29.61 per hour
