Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety on construction sites. The Welder will be responsible for creating high-quality welds on metal components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and piping.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.</li><li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.</li><li>Conduct fabrication tasks including assembly of components and ductwork installation.</li><li>Forklifts for material handling as needed.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ASME codes &amp; standards during all welding processes.</li><li>Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure precision in work.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on projects requiring rigging and mechanical knowledge.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in welding, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment.</li><li>Familiarity with various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick welding, and soldering.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication processes.</li><li>Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely.</li><li>Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.</li><li>Experience with pipe threading, plasma cutting, press brake machines, machining, and assembly is preferred.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability for quality work.
