</div><div><b>Position Summary</b> We are looking for an experienced <b>Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist</b> to join our team in a hybrid capacity which allows some opportunities to work from home. This flexible position is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing vendor relationships and ensuring accurate, timely financial processing in a supportive small-business environment. The role requires <b>25-30 hours per week</b>, with scheduling flexibility to accommodate your personal needs while aligning with business requirements.<br>
</div><div><b>Key Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Process vendor invoices and bills accurately and efficiently using QuickBooks Online Advanced.</li>
<li>Track purchase order status from issuance through receipt and payment.</li>
<li>Receive and verify incoming orders against purchase orders and packing slips.</li>
<li>Calculate, prepare, and pay all applicable taxes, including sales tax, use tax, property tax, and quarterly estimated taxes.</li>
<li>Manage workers&rsquo; compensation insurance reporting, payments, and renewals.</li>
<li>Reconcile and verify employee credit card accounts and transactions monthly.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date vendor information, including W-9s, contact details, payment terms, and certifications.</li>
<li>Update product pricing in the system as directed.</li>
<li>Prepare and process employee expense reports for reimbursement.</li>
<li>Ensure timely payments to vendors while optimizing cash flow and taking advantage of available discounts.</li>
<li>Assist with accounts payable reporting, month-end close tasks, and vendor inquiries as needed.</li>
</ul><div><b>Qualifications and Requirements</b></div>
<ul><li><b>Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience</b> in accounts payable, preferably in a small business or similar setting.</li>
<li><b>Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Advanced edition required)</b> &ndash; must be comfortable with bill entry, vendor management, purchase orders, expense tracking, reconciliations, tax payments, and reporting features.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, purchase order matching, vendor reconciliations, expense reports, and tax compliance.</li>
<li>Experience preparing and filing various business taxes (sales/use, property, estimated) is strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and high accuracy in data entry and financial processing.</li>
<li>Professional communication skills for vendor and internal team interactions (phone, email).</li>
<li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.</li>
<li>Experience in medical equipment, healthcare, or related industries is a plus but not required.</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.</li>
